Morse Code Maker

Morse Code Maker WordPress Plugin

Everything on this page runs in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Morse Code Maker began as a WordPress plugin, and the tools on this site are the same engine, running here as a standalone website. The plugin gives any WordPress site a complete Morse Code toolkit through shortcodes: a full translator with audio and visual signals, a reference chart, an SOS generator, an audio decoder, an audio studio with WAV export, a flashlight signal, a learning centre with flashcards and quizzes, a speed test, and utilities including a QR generator.

There are 13 shortcodes in version 2.0.1. The main one, [morse_code_maker], adds the full tool. The others add single sections, so a site owner can put just a text-to-Morse converter on one page, just the chart on another, or just the quiz in a lesson post. Everything runs in the visitor's browser with vanilla JavaScript and the Web Audio API — no database tables, no external API calls and no jQuery — which keeps pages fast and keeps visitors' typed text private.

This standalone site and the plugin share the same International Morse Code mappings, the same PARIS timing for audio, and the same design goal: a tool that works first and explains itself second. If you run a WordPress site for a radio club, a classroom, a scout group or a puzzle community, the plugin is the quickest way to add these tools there. If you just want to translate, listen or learn, the pages on this site need nothing at all — they are ready to use right now.

Download and installation details for the plugin will be added here before the custom-domain launch. Until then, use this site directly: every tool above is the live plugin engine, running without WordPress, and every conversion, sound and game works exactly as it does in the plugin.
